HOW WE MAKE IT

We make our sauerkraut traditionally in small batches by hand. First, we shred the fresh cabbage and massage it with Himalayan Crystal Salt, before allowing it to ferment in a jar for 3 days. After the first fermentation, we let it further ferment in low temperature until it's ready to be consumed.

SUGGESTED USE

  • Sauerkraut especially goes well as a condiment with food with high fat content such as meat or nuts. We recommend a slice of sourdough bread and a slab of almond butter topped with Living Sauerkraut.

Ingredients

Fresh cabbage, Himalayan Crystal Salt
