*About Organic Products*
Organic veggies are not perfect but they are high quality
We must let you know that our corn is not perfectly yellow and massive, our bananas can look a bit smaller and they have seeds, sometimes our cucumbers are odd shapes or sizes, and sometimes an ant may find its way into your leaves - organic does not mean 100% perfect. That said, what we can assure you is that our veggies are CHEMICAL FREE, lovingly hand-grown and harvested, not flown in from miles away and they are always fresh as they can be.
GMO conventional sweetcorn is chemically engineered to look perfect as it does in the supermarket, same goes for most bananas and other perfect looking conventional veggies - but please know that these veggies are FULL of chemicals.
You might get an added bonus of a juicy ant or insect in your leaves - GREAT! Our farmers are sticking to the promise - NO CHEMICALS! Our farmers do not use chemicals to keep bugs off of the produce and so sometimes it will occur that the odd bug or insect will get in touch with the veggies. The animal is not harmful and as long as you take away the damaged area and insect, the vegetable it is still a perfectly good vegetable to eat.
*Reporting & Feedback*
We do our upmost to ensure that every vegetable that comes into our premises for delivery is quality checked before it goes out the door - sometimes the odd leaf or tomato will escape a thorough inspection - we're honest about this. No worries - just alert us with a photo on the day of delivery and explain your complaints - we will assess them straight away.
