Asparagus is an incredibly healthy vegetable to eat. It contains 40% of the vitamin K needed for the day, which helps with blood clotting and bone health. It also contains vitamin E and C and some tryptophan. This vegetable is fat-free, sodium-free, and has only 4 calories per spear.
